With just one day to go in the summer transfer window, which Premier League clubs needs to strengthen and where?
MORE — All completed summer transfers in the Premier League.
Below we list the main area each club needs to strengthen and chuck a few names out there as possible targets.
It has already been a ridiculously busy summer of transfers, but all signs point to a late flurry of deals.
Arsenal
Left winger - The only area Arsenal may need an extra option is left wing. Kenan Yildiz has been linked. Other than that, they are set.
Aston Villa
Defenders, goalkeeper, central midfielder, forwards - Their squad is a mess after so many outgoings. A massive week in the transfer market is needed to get them back on track. Taylor Harwood-Bellis looks set to join in defense, while Nicolas Jackson has arrived in attack.
Bournemouth
Striker - Some extra help for Evanilson would be ideal, while general squad cover will be needed with Europa League coming up.
Brentford
Striker - A solid back-up option for Igor Thiago would be the dream, but seems like it will be quiet.
Brighton & Hove Albion
Central midfielder - Very few areas where they need to strengthen, but perhaps another midfielder if Yasin Ayari moves on?
Chelsea
Central midfielder - The deal for Emiliano Martinez was a good one, while there could be movement in central midfield if Enzo Fernandez leaves. Adam Wharton or Alex Scott could be great options?

Coventry City
Winger - Some extra creativity out wide would be a nice end to a busy summer. Maybe Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea is an option?
Crystal Palace
Striker, central defender, central midfielder - The situation around Jean-Philippe Mateta’s future is bizarre, while Chadi Riad’s injury may force them to sign a center back. Adam Wharton seems likely to stay, but if he doesn’t then a central midfielder will be needed.
Everton
Forward - The squad seems set but if a forward becomes available who can give them extra depth, they should go for it. They have been linked with a move for Folarin Balogun if Beto moves on.
Fulham
Striker - Youngster Gonzalo Garcia looks sharp and getting some extra competition for him and Rodrigo Muniz should be the priority.
Hull City
Winger - They have signed so many new players but a winger or two would be ideal as they look to provide more chances for Oli McBurnie to finish.
Ipswich Town
Central defender, central striker - An extra central defender is probably needed and they’ve added midfielder Exequiel Palacios which is great business. Other than that, Ipswich may look to add one more player in attack with Zian Flemming linked.
Leeds United
Winger - Their squad is looking settled and strong and perhaps another spark in attack is all they need to add. They’ve been linked with a loan move for Mykhailo Mudryk.

Liverpool
Central midfielder - They need a defensive midfielder to improve their balance, while another full back (or two) would be nice. Adam Wharton from Palace would be a good fit. What about Tyler Adams from Bournemouth? Out wide Bradley Barcola has arrived for huge money, while another winger could arrive if Gakpo leaves.
Manchester City
Central midfielder, winger - It’s hard to see where City need any players at all but even after the big-money arrivals of Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi, another midfielder is probably needed. Cody Gakpo has also been linked.
Manchester United
Defenders - After signing so many central midfielders including this week’s addition of Carlos Baleba, they have options in that area. Anew left back and defensive cover should be the priority.
Newcastle United
Striker - They have strengthened their central midfield, which was a must, and now the focus will switch to depth and adding an extra striker if Nick Woltemade moves on.
Nottingham Forest
Goalkeeper - Goalkeeper has been a problem area for a while for Forest and they need to address it. They’ve also been snapped up Liam Delap up top, which made a lot of sense.
Sunderland
Midfielder, winger - An extra bit of trickery out wide would be nice, while some general squad depth for the European challenge would also be welcome.
Tottenham Hotspur
Striker, goalkeeper - Spurs have spent big this summer and they are still making moves for forwards even after Omar Marmoush and Savio arrived. Perhaps they also need a new goalkeeper?
