VIDEO: Pellegrini talks straightforward win over West Ham


Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini was in coach-speak mode following a 2-0 victory over West Ham that provided an important three points for the Citizens but also looked sleepy at times.

He was all business after the match, saying that the points were important (which they were) to put two straight defeats to bed, and he also spoke about how the club needs to “finish as close to the top of the table as we possibly can.”

Beyond that, there was precious little to be given by the Chilean manager, and at the end of the chat he wasn’t giving any ground on the speculation surrounding his job status, saying simply, “no comments about it” before walking away.
