According to the Indianapolis Star, there is “every chance” that Terrence Johnson will replace LCB Jacob Lacey in the base defense this week.
After taking over nickelback duties from Justin Tryon, Johnson played 62 snaps inside and at left cornerback in Week 3. “As of (Thursday), it looks like I’m probably the starter,” Johnson said. “We’ll see how it shakes out by game time.”

Colts placed CB Terrence Johnson (forearm) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Indy’s primary slot cornerback for most of the season, Johnson was replaced in the lineup by rookie Chris Rucker against the Patriots. Johnson and CB Jerraud Powers’ year-ending injuries will give the Colts ample time to evaluate youngsters Rucker and Kevin Thomas during the season’s final four games.

Terrence Johnson was forced from Sunday’s game against the Patriots with a forearm injury.
His return is questionable. Johnson plays in the slot and behind Jacob Lacey in the Colts base 4-3 defense. Chris Rucker is expected to replace him in the lineup.

    Falcons waived CB Terrence Johnson.
A slot corner and gunner by trade, Johnson was primarily playing special teams since being signed on September 11. He goes to make room for Corey Peters.

    Falcons signed CB Terrence Johnson.
The Falcons need the depth at cornerback after losing franchise player Brent Grimes to a torn Achilles’ tendon. Johnson operated as the Colts’ primary slot cornerback for the majority of last season.

Colts CB Jacob Lacey was benched in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Bengals.
Lacey was getting eaten alive by Jerome Simpson and it wasn’t a fluke. He’s been getting ravaged all year, leading to a rotation with Terrence Johnson. Yesterday, Johnson just finished the game out as Lacey watched from the sideline. The Colts’ secondary remains one to attack in fantasy.

Falcons signed CB Terrence Johnson to a reserve/future contract.
Johnson has appeared in 12 career games with the Colts and Falcons over the last two seasons. He’ll be 27 years old at the start of next season, and his only value will be on special teams if he makes the team.
