    Bills waived/injured WR Duke Williams.
The Bills also placed guard Forrest Lamp on injured reserve, freeing up two spots for them to sign running back Kerrith Whyte and defensive back Tim Harris. Williams has bounced between Buffalo’s practice squad and active roster multiple times since signing with the team in 2019. He made one appearance for the Bills last year but did not record any stats. Williams is a candidate to sign with the Bills’ practice squad if he can get healthy.

  • FA Defensive Back #29
49ers selected Virginia CB Tim Harris with the No. 198 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Harris started 14-of-20 games in his first two seasons with the Wahoos, racking up 45 tackles and six pass breakups. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to stay on the field over his final three seasons, playing in just 11 games in that span. Already behind in the league as a sixth-year senior with two season-ending injuries in his rearview, Harris’ best-case scenario in the league is to settle in as a reserve corner and hard-nosed special teams standout.
