Rod Streater left Sunday’s loss with a hip flexor injury. Brown, who was waived by the Chargers prior to Week 1, proved he isn’t a serviceable NFL wideout last year while filling in for Malcom Floyd.

The 2011 third-rounder appeared in seven games last season, catching 12 passes. The formerly-hyped prospect has never been the same since missing all of 2012 with a broken ankle. He’ll be a long-shot for the Colts’ final receiver spot.
