Erica Wheeler finished with 16 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two three-pointers during Thursday night’s 74-73 loss to the Aces in 33 minutes of play off the bench.
Wheeler was the Storm’s best shot maker on Thursday night as she made six shots, the most across the entire Storm team. While she also wasn’t the most efficient, she tied Nneka Ogwumike for the most points scored from the Storm of the night. Wheeler was most effective getting downhill since she missed most of the three-pointers she took. Although her most important shot came with 19.3 seconds left in regulation where she hit a 12-foot jumper to give the Storm a one point lead. Skylar Diggins got the ball to Wheeler once again with 4.4 seconds left in regulation while the Storm was down just a point, but Wheeler missed a 15-foot jumper losing the Storm the game. Just like Diggins, Wheeler registered assists to five different teammates which included Ogwumike, Diggins, Gabby Williams, Ezi Magbegor and Dominique Malonga.
  • Skylar Diggins added 13 points (4-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, three steals, one block and three three-pointers during Thursday night’s 74-73 loss to the Aces in 36 minutes of play.
Diggins was inefficient from the field only hitting just over 30% of her field goals. She missed six shots at the rim which is usually where she’s most effective. Diggins scored the ball beyond the arc, taking five three-pointers and making three of them. She had a chance to win her team the game with 12.4 seconds left in regulation. She got the ball at the top of the key and drove past Jackie Young and A’ja Wilson. She was met by Jewell Loyd right on the block but decided to pass the ball to Wheeler who had a more hot hand rather than trying to drive the ball to the rim through contact. Diggins also had six assists and found five different teammates in Ezi Magbegor, Nneka Ogwumike, Erica Wheeler, Brittney Sykes and Gabby Williams all for scores.
  • Gabby Williams accumulated 16 points (8-of-13 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, and one steal, in 27 minutes of play during Sunday night’s 102-77 blowout loss to the Aces.
Williams was the Storm’s most efficient scorer on Sunday night, shooting over 61 percent from the field during a game when it was so difficult for the Storm to score the basketball consistently. The Aces defense did a solid job of preventing Williams from unlocking her playmaking as she only had two assists in the Storm loss. She did her most damage in the third quarter when she was trying to will her team back into the game after being down 20 points at halftime. She hit a pair of mid-range pull-ups and put the ball on the floor and drove the ball to the rim. She also scored on a well timed backdoor cut and corresponding pass from Nneka Ogwumike.
  • Gabby Williams accounted for 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in Saturday’s win over the Sky.
Williams was one of six Storm players to score in double figures, including all five starters. She finished Saturday’s victory a three-pointer and a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line, but the rebounds and steals were there for those who have Williams rostered on their fantasy teams. Since being limited to two points in an August 26 loss to the Fever, she’s tallied 28 points in wins over the Lynx and Sky. Having fallen into a slump earlier this month, Williams needed these last two games as she and the Storm looked to lock down a playoff berth.
  • Gabby Williams tallied 16 points (5-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Lynx.
As Seattle tries to hang onto a playoff spot over the final weeks of the regular season, Williams made sure to do her part in collecting a win on Thursday. The defensive wing found lots of success on the offensive end, logging her highest points total of August, while contributing more threes against the Lynx than she had totaled in the previous five games combined. Williams’ eight points and two three-pointers in the fourth quarter were especially impactful in helping the Storm create separation from the Lynx en route to a double-digit win. She’ll be counted on to have another productive game against the Sky on Saturday.
  • Gabby Williams posted 13 points (6-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one three-pointer on Sunday in the Storm’s loss to the Mercury.
Williams had a performance on Sunday that was very similar to the many she’s produced throughout her career-best 2025 season. She totaled just five first-half points before finding more success after the break to finish with her sixth double-digit scoring game of August. While she wasn’t quite as disruptive on the defensive end as usual, the veteran forward made up for it by performing exceptionally as a facilitator. Altogether, Williams concluded with another solid outing as it pertains to fantasy basketball.
  • Gabby Williams produced 11 points (5-of-10 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, one steal and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s loss to the Dream.
Williams started slowly, shooting 1-of-3 from the field in the first half. She was more active offensively after halftime, and the Storm wing finished with a complete stat line. While she isn’t the most prolific scorer, Williams’s abilities as a playmaker and defender make her a reliable fantasy asset. However, the Storm have lost six straight games and are in dire need of a momentum shift. Williams will look to serve as a catalyst when Seattle faces Atlanta on Friday in Vancouver.
  • Gabby Williams finished Tuesday’s loss to the Lynx with nine points (3-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer.
Williams made franchise history during Tuesday’s game, recording her 75th steal of the season, eclipsing Natasha Howard’s 74 during the 2019 campaign. And that’s with the Storm still having 14 games left to play this season. While Williams has occasionally struggled with her shot, the all-around game makes her an asset in all fantasy leagues. And with another plus defender in Brittney Sykes set to join the team, Williams’ defensive numbers may receive a boost.
  • Gabby Williams tallied 12 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in Sunday’s loss to the Fever.
Williams was more efficient shooting the basketball than in Friday’s wild loss to the Sparks, and she provided a little bit of everything against the Fever. All that was missing from her final line was a blocked shot and a three-pointer, but the overall value was there due to the rebounds and assists. The nine rebounds were the most in a game for Williams since June 20, missing out on her first double-double since June 22 and third of the season.
  • Gabby Williams totaled 14 points (5-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists, five steals and two three-pointers in the Storm’s loss to the Sparks on Friday.
While Friday’s game against the Sparks may not have been Williams’ most productive as a scorer, she repeatedly came up big on the offensive end down the stretch. However, her efforts were ultimately outshone by Dearica Hamby’s game-winning layup in the second overtime period. The 2025 All-Star also impressed as a rebounder and led the Storm in assists, while remaining pesky on the defensive end to rack up an abundance of steals. She had another great night overall and should continue to put up big numbers for fantasy managers.
