Rachel Banham reached a career high in assists during Thursday night’s 91-86 loss to the Liberty tallying 13 points (4-of-11 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), three rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, and two three-pointers in 33 minutes of play during her final game of the 2025 WNBA season.
Banham recorded a season and career high in assists in her final game of the 2025 season. Banham, a natural shooting guard, saw extended minutes for the Sky at the one especially following Courtney Vandersloot’s season-ending ACL injury. She accounted for 10 of the Sky’s 25 assists on Thursday night and had her most assists in the second quarter when she registered five. Banham found five different teammates including her most consistent target Kamilla Cardoso, who scored 10 of her points off Banham assists, in addition to shots for Rebecca Allen, Kia Nurse, Michaela Onyenwere and Maddy Westbeld.
  • Rebecca Allen tallied seven points (3-of-9 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Tuesday’s loss to the Aces.
Allen moved into the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game, making her first start since August 3. While she struggled with her shot, the veteran forward finished with a complete stat line. Sevgi Uzun, who started Sunday’s loss to the Aces, played 16 minutes off the bench and finished with four points (2-of-4 FGs), two assists and one steal. Whether either player starts Thursday’s season finale depends on the availability of Ariel Atkins, who has missed the last two games with a back injury.
  • Rachel Banham, Rebecca Allen, Michaela Onyenwere, Elizabeth Williams and Kamilla Cardoso will start Tuesday’s game against the Aces.
With Angel Reese (back) still out, there is only one change to the lineup that started Sunday’s loss to Las Vegas. Allen moves into the starting five, with Sevgi Uzun being bumped to the bench. In addition to Reese, Chicago remains without Ariel Atkins, so Allen is starting alongside Banham on the perimeter.
  • Elizabeth Williams recorded 13 points (4-of-5 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 11 rebounds, four assists, and one block during Friday night’s 97-77 loss to the Fever in 32 minutes of play coming off the bench.
Williams recorded her fourth double-double of the season on Friday night. She scored the ball efficiently coming off high-low passes from teammate Kamilla Cardoso in addition to two assists coming from Rebecca Allen finding Williams cutting off the ball. Williams rebounded the ball well especially when Cardoso wasn’t in great position to do so and had Fever players trying to box her out. Williams also facilitated at a high level on Friday night. She found Michaela Onyenwere for two different layups where the Fever were mismatched guarding the Sky wing. Williams also had two more assists in the fourth quarter to Ariel Atkins and rookie Maddy Westbeld for two jump shots that Williams helped created on handoffs and screens.
  • Ariel Atkins (leg) and Hailey Van Lith (ankle) are available for Friday night’s game against the Valkyries.
Both Van Lith and Atkins have been upgraded to available for Friday night’s home game against the Valkyries. Van Lith played in 11 minutes off the bench during the Sky’s previous game in Connecticut against the Sun. Atkins only played in 9 minutes on Wednesday after she was ejected following her involvement in a second-quarter altercation between Sun guard Bria Hartley and Sky wing Rebecca Allen. Atkins should play more than 9 minutes on Friday and Van Lith’s minutes could fluctuate above or below her 11 minutes from Wednesday.
  • Rebecca Allen was ejected from Wednesday’s game against the Sun with 6:35 remaining in the second quarter.
Allen was one of three players ejected from Wednesday’s game following her altercation with Connecticut guard Bria Hartley. Following a lengthy review, the official declared the altercation to be a fight, ejecting Allen and Hartley. Also ejected was Chicago’s Ariel Atkins, who was deemed to have escalated things by attempting to get to Hartley before officials could step in. Allen finished with two rebounds and one blocked shot in six minutes, missing her lone shot attempt.
  • Rachel Banham, Ariel Atkins, Michaela Onyenwere, Elizabeth Williams and Kamilla Cardoso will start Tuesday’s game against the Mystics.
The Sky remain without Angel Reese, who is dealing with a back injury, but they welcome back Atkins after she missed seven games with a leg injury. Her return pushes Kia Nurse to the bench, while Williams moves into the starting lineup in place of Rebecca Allen. Williams is worth streaming as long as Reese is out, whether she starts or comes off the bench.
  • Michaela Onyenwere (knee) is questionable to play on Sunday vs. the Mercury.
Onyenwere was listed as probable before the Sky’s game against the Valkyries on Friday, in which she ultimately played 14 minutes in the loss. If she plays on Sunday, fantasy managers can expect the former Rookie of the Year to fulfill a similar role. If she doesn’t play, Rebecca Allen could see more opportunities.
  • Michaela Onyenwere (knee) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Valkyries.
Onyenwere was initially probable for Tuesday’s loss to the Mystics but ultimately played, logging 18 minutes off the bench. If she cannot play on Friday, look for Rebecca Allen to play significant minutes again as part of the starting lineup. Allen played 33 minutes on Tuesday, finishing with 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers.
  • Rebecca Allen contributed 10 points (4-of-7 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two three-pointers during Tuesday night’s 103-86 loss to the Mystics in 33 minutes of play.
Allen had an efficient outing against the Mystics, but did all of her damage scoring in the first half. The Sky offense struggled to find her for open shots in the second half and only gave her two shot attempts total in both the third and fourth quarters. Allen created for herself in the midrange, hitting two pull-ups off the dribble in addition to her two assisted made threes via Rachel Banham and Kia Nurse. With Ariel Atkins still out for the Sky, Allen has been a secondary facilitator, and picked up another two assists in the loss to the Mystics.
