On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Sara Perlman and Drew Dinsick dive into the college basketball futures market to see if there’s any value on No. 3 or No. 4 seeds to make the Final Four.
Nick Kostos joins the show to give out his favorite plays in the round of 64 at the NCAA men’s college basketball tourney. He likes the underdogs to start off strong and is taking Colorado State (+2) over Michigan and South Dakota State (+3) over Providence.
Kostos also dives into the MLB futures market and thinks the Yankees (+200) offer zero value to win the American League East.
NBC Sports EDGE’s Tom Casale is back to continue our coverage of March Madness. He thinks this will be a tournament of underdogs, but he does like a few big favorites on Thursday and Friday. He’s backing Iowa (-10) over Richmond and leans Duke and Purdue in its first round matchups.
Drew and Sara wrap up today’s episode with their Edge of the Day plays. Drew looks to continue a great week in the NBA and is backing the Over (219) in the Pistons vs. Magic game. Sara likes Longwood (+18.5) to cover the big number against Tennessee.
