Drew Dinsick and I covered our favorite College Basketball futures on Bet The Edge and my favorite pick was the Arizona Wildcats because of the value they present.
If Arizona gets a No. 1 seed, these prices will be cut in half and if the Wildcats win the Pac-12, they will be a top five favorite to win it all.
As of January 8th, UCLA and Arizona have the same price to win the National Title and final four odds despite the Bruins being -180 favorites to win the Pac-12 regular-season title (Zona has two conference losses, UCLA has none).
The Wildcats are top 15 nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency (5th), offensive effective field goal percentage (11th), adjusted tempo (14th), average offensive possession length (7th) and two-point percentage (6th).

Arizona is also one of the most experienced teams (73rd) and tallest squads in the country (13th). Last year, Arizona was starting all freshman and sophomores, but now with another year under their belt, the Wildcats look much better with four juniors and one senior in the starting lineup.
The Wildcats play a seven-man rotation, which is what most teams do in the March Madness tournament, so this group should only get better. Arizona has one home loss since the start of last season and the Wildcats still have home games versus USC, UCLA, Oregon, Utah and Arizona State in conference action.
Arizona will have plenty of opportunities to prove itself after losing its first home game since 2021 (Washington State on 1/7) and its conference opener at Utah on the road (12/1). However, the Wildcats have played a challenging schedule beating teams like Cincinnati, Creighton, Indiana, San Diego State and Tennessee along the way.
I played Arizona to make the Final 4 at +400 odds and to win it all at +1600. As March gets closer, these odds will shorten, so I will take the value now. I think Arizona goes deeper than last year’s Sweet 16 loss to Houston.
