Chad Kuhl O/U 4.5 Strikeouts vs. Giants

Let’s run it back on Chad Kuhl and include him in our new MLB two-team parlay booster on PointsBet tonight.

We will be hosting a 2 versus 2 competition of the Late Sweat on Tuesday’s in MLB and Kuhl will be my first pick.

He is also a revenge pick because he went for eight strikeouts in his last start (we had Under 4.5 Ks), which also came versus the Giants, who Kuhl plays tonight. See what I’m getting at?

Kuhl is 2-0 to the Under 4.5 Ks at home this season, which is at Coors Field. Starting pitchers are 17-8 in the last 25 games to the Under 4.5 Ks (68%) versus San Francisco and 10-5 to the Under versus RHP in the past 15 (66.6%).

This month, the Giants are 10-4 to the Under 4.5 Ks versus starting pitching (71.4%), per statmuse.

SF GIANTS

SF GIANTS

Kuhl has a 5.06 ERA in May so far with a .244 OBA (two starts) compared a .190 ERA and .160 OBA in April.

He allowed six earned runs and five walks in his past two games versus five earned runs and seven walks in the first four starts of the season. It appears Kuhl is coming back down to Earth for the Rockies.

I grabbed his Under 4.5 Ks at -140 odds and would play out to -150.

Pick: Chad Kuhl Under 4.5 Strikeouts (1u)

Jameson Taillon O/U 4.5 Strikeouts vs. Orioles

Jameson Taillon will make his third start of the season versus the Orioles and second on the road.

The Yankees starter went 9.1 innings with a 3.86 ERA, .286 OBA, six strikeouts, two walks and four earned runs over two starts versus the Orioles. Taillon stayed Under 4.5 strikeouts in both games and Under six of his last seven road games overall, including both this season.

The Orioles are 7-3 to the Under 4.5 strikeouts versus starting RHP since the start of May and 9-6 to the Under overall versus all starting pitchers, per statmuse.

RHP vs BAL;

The Orioles are putting up subpar numbers over the last seven games but they also faced Luis Severino, Tarik Skubal and Steven Matz during that stretch. Those three combined for 25 strikeouts, while the other four starting pitchers recorded eight total Ks.

Taillon doesn’t strikeout the competition like either of those three and I expect another four or fewer K outing from the Yankees RHP. I grabbed Taillon Under 4.5 Ks at -115 odds and would play out to -140.

Pick: Jameson Taillon Under 4.5 Strikeouts (1u)

Alex Cobb O/U 4.5 Strikeouts vs. Rockies

Alex Webb was the first pitcher to go Over 4.5 strikeouts at Coors Field this month and the first LHP. Now Alex Cobb will try to be the second pitcher and first RHP on the month to go Over.

No RHP has gone Over 4.5 Ks yet this month and the Under is 16-4 on the season to starting pitching at Coors Field (80%) and 10-3 to the Under versus RHP (76.9%), per statmuse.

SP at Coors

Cobb has not started at Coors Field since 2013 when he pitched for the Rays, so I doubt he adjusts well to the altitude. On the road this season, Cobb had four strikeouts in 4.1 innings against a tough Mets lineup.

The Giants pitcher allowed six hits for four runs and three earned on 60 pitches. This will be his second road start of the season. Cobb is 14-7 to the Under 4.5 Ks in his last 21 road starts (66.6%) and 6-4 in the past 10 (60%)

I grabbed Cobb at +120 odds for Under 4.5 strikeouts and would play it out to -130.

Pick: Alex Cobb Under 4.5 Strikeouts (1u)
