Fantasy football guru Matthew Berry has joined the team and his two shows have you covered all season long. Spend weekdays at noon with the Fantasy Football Happy Hour and then, every Sunday at 11am getting ready for kickoff with the Fantasy Football Pregame. Watch both shows live on Peacock and catch replays for the weekday show on the NFL on NBC YouTube channel.

After a regular season that included among other things the dismissal of Joe Girardi, a major injury to last year’s NL MVP Bryce Harper, and a bullpen that has been a roll of the dice every night out, the Philadelphia Phillies are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2011.

Rob Thomson’s squad qualified despite closing the season with six losses in their last ten games. That said, they enter the postseason as a live dog due to a couple of aces atop their staff in Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola and as healthy as they have been all season one through nine in the order.

In the opposing dugout sit the St. Louis Cardinals. Their consistently high level of play in the NL Central and the ease with which they won the division was not a revelation but did surprise a few people (at least a few in Wisconsin). Paul Goldschmidt is the likely NL MVP eith Nolan Arenado certain to get votes in the Top Ten for that same award. They are the pillars in the Cards’ lineup. Their pitching staff has been solid but does not feature a Zach Wheeler or Aaron Nola but they have quietly been better than solid all season.

In this Wild Card series, will Bryce Harper assert himself and carry the Phils? Will the combo of Wheeler and Nola slow down the Cardinals attack? Or will Goldschmidt and co. continue to find a way?
