Fantasy football guru Matthew Berry has joined the team and his two shows have you covered all season long. Watch both shows live on Peacock and catch replays for the weekday show on the NFL on NBC YouTube channel.

It is not likely, but it is still possible that the 2022 Los Angeles Dodgers challenge the 2001 Seattle Mariners regular season mark of 116 wins. Through 140 games, the Dodgers are 97-43. Wow! To even equal the mark of the Ichiro Suzuki-led Mariners, though, Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers will need to go 19-3 the rest of the season. Even with the league’s best offense (.791 OPS) and pitching staff (2.86 ERA) achieving that mark is possible but not probable for the Dodgers. The bigger goal and more tangible goal is to claim their 2nd World Series title in the past three seasons.

Tonight, they face the Arizona Diamondbacks. With 66 wins entering tonight’s game, Torey Lovullo‘s squad has already hit the Over on their projected win totals most sportsbooks published during Spring Training.

Further up the coast in Seattle, the Mariners continue their drive to earn a playoff berth for the first time since 2001. The Mariners are led by their ace, Luis Castillo, whom they acquired from the Cincinnati Reds just prior to the trade deadline. Eugenio Suárez and rookie Julio Rodriguez lead the Seattle attack with 30 and 25 home runs, respectively. Tonight, Seattle hosts San Diego. Manny Machado and the Padres also appear headed to the postseason despite being consistently inconsistent.

Tonight, on the diamond the EDGE MLB analysts have done a deep dive into the odds markets for these two MLB games. They have found two plays from each game. They are going head-to-head in a duel of sorts to see which game can produce a bigger payday.

The EDGE team of MLB analysts have paired up as follows: John Venezia (@_JohnnyVTV) and Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) have joined for Parlay #1 and Drew Silva (@drewsilv) and DJ Short (@djshort) have combined efforts for Parlay #2.

As mentioned, enjoy the plays individually or as parlays…with a boost courtesy of PointsBet.

Parlay #1: Los Angeles Dodgers @ Arizona Diamondbacks

Los Angeles Dodgers RL -1.5 (-115) @ Arizona

and

Clayton Kershaw 5+ Ks (-145) @ Arizona

Parlay Boosted from +175 to +200 courtesy of PointsBet.

John Venezia (@_JohnnyVTV) and Vaughn Dalzell (VmoneySports):

Well, I certainly thought about going with the DBacks and Merrill Kelly, until I realized how bad he has been against LAD. Who knows, maybe this is the one trend bucker tonight. Anyway, Kershaw has been money on the road this season with a 2.44 ERA and .203 OBA. With his Dodgers on an absolute HEATER, they should cover their eighth run line in a row in games they win.

Clayton Kershaw recorded six and eight punch-outs in his first two games back from the injured list versus the Mets and Giants, respectively.

The Dodgers are on pace to win 112 games (the Yankees hold the modern-day record of 114 set in 1998). That said, Kershaw is just warming up for the postseason as the regular season winds down over the next few weeks. He has yet to face Arizona this season. That is an advantage for the future Hall-of-Famer. Our model has Kershaw hitting 5.6 strikeouts tonight, so throw Kershaw Over 4.5 Ks or to get 5+ Ks (same thing) in your Dodgers vs DBacks’ same game parlays.

Parlay #2: San Diego Padres @ Seattle Mariners

Seattle Mariners ML (-110) vs. San Diego

and

Logan Gilbert OVER 4.5 Ks (-145) vs. San Diego

Parlay Boosted from +190 to +225 courtesy of PointsBet.

Drew Silva (@drewsilv) and DJ Short (@djshort):

Cruising toward their first postseason appearance in more than 20 years, the Mariners won two thrilling games to finish out their weekend series against the defending World Series-champion Braves. They should be able to keep the good times rolling with Logan Gilbert on the mound Tuesday night versus the visiting Padres. Gilbert has been terrific so far in September, and we are expecting him to shove against a talented but very up-and-down San Diego club. Yu Darvish allowed three home runs last time out, and the Seattle offense has been lumbering up in recent weeks.

This game features a marquee pitching matchup with Yu Darvish on the hill for the Padres against Seattle’s Logan Gilbert. I expect Gilbert to be equal to the task. The 25-year-old has been dominant in his last two outings, striking out nine in each while racking up 12 scoreless frames. He dialed it up to 99 mph in his final inning in his last start against the White Sox last week, so clearly he is not tiring down the stretch. The adrenaline of the playoff race is likely helping. Missing bats was a big issue for Gilbert in August — he had just two strikeouts in three out of his five starts last month — but this sounds like a reasonable number for him to reach against an inconsistent San Diego offense.

Again, play these individually or as parlays with a Boost from PointsBet.

Enjoy the night in baseball and enjoy the Late Sweat Duel.
