NBA Finals Preview

Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Game 1 of the NBA Finals starts tonight between the Celtics and Warriors. Chris Miles and Corey Parson drop by to share their expertise on how they’re betting the series.

For Game 1 tonight, Chris loves the Warriors (-3.5) and feels this is a great number to back Golden State at home, while Corey is backing the Celtics (+3.5). Both guys also look at the over/under for the game tonight and Steph Curry’s point total (27.5). Chris leans towards the over for Curry’s point prop as well as the game total (213.5). Conversely, Corey is liking the over in Game 1 and sees that correlating with Curry to go over 27.5 points.

Sara, Drew, Corey and Chris then dive into futures bets for the Finals. They first look at which player will score more points in the series: Jayson Tatum (-135) or Stephen Curry (+105). Chris thinks it will be Tatum, but Corey sees value in Curry with the plus money. The group then get into their series predictions with Chris believing the Warriors will win in 5 games (+450) and Corey backing Golden State in 7 games (+325). Meanwhile, Drew is riding with the Celtics in 5 games (+900).

Sara and Drew wrap up today’s episode with their Edge of the Day plays. Drew likes the Celtics (+3.5) tonight against the Warriors and Sara sees value in Jaylen Brown winning Finals MVP (+1200).
