The Suns and Bucks meet tonight for Game 2 of the NBA Finals after Phoenix took Game 1 and are now sitting at -290 to win the series on PointsBet with the Bucks coming back at +230.

The Phoenix Suns put up a dominant performance behind Chris Paul to take Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Giannis Antetokounmpo clearly was not 100%, but he did score 20 points with 17 rebounds.
The Milwaukee Bucks were down big at times in Game 1, but if you examine the box score closer you will see that the Bucks were outscored 25-9 at the free-throw line. If they can tighten that up, Game 2 should be a much closer contest.

Tonight’s game opened on PointsBet with the Bucks as 5.5 point underdogs, but has dropped through the 5 and down to 4.5, although it is juiced to the favorite. It appears as if sharp bettors think the Bucks will bounce back tonight and I agree.
However, the wager that I consider my best bet is not on the point spread but on the Total. The opening Total for Game 1 was 4 points lower than tonight’s game. We normally do not see that type of line movement from one game to another in the same series. The total in this game was bet down as low as 219, but it started to move back up. PointsBet is reporting Over 60% of the tickets and Over 70% of the money backing the Under. The late movement to the Over is not a good sign for those bettors.
