On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick trudge through a brutal NFC to ultimately find a glimmer of hope among the colossal disappointments thus far this season. They also look at the Week 7 finale where the Chicago Bears travel to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots (-8.5). The pair also check in on some of the Eastern Conference futures prices in the NBA.
Bet the Edge kicks things off by breaking down the best value in the NFC market. Jay still has eyes for the Dallas Cowboys (+850) to sneak up behind the field. Citing the potential for top five ceilings on both offense and defense, he believes this current price is a great buy. Drew is still riding with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+600) fresh off a monster beatdown from the 13.5 point underdogs in the Carolina Panthers. He outlines that Tom Brady in the playoffs is still as dangerous a threat as any along with him having the most postseason pedigree in the NFC QB field. The duo also discusses the world-beating MNF matchup where they think the Patriots laying the points and taking the under (40.5) are the best viable options.
The program concludes by looking into the Eastern Conference race in the Association. Jay and Drew are not thrilled about the putrid start of the Philadelphia 76ers (+700) and Brooklyn Nets (+350), but have no cause for concern on the possibilities of winning the conference.
Bet the Edge will highlighting several more pivotal matchups throughout the week!
