On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick react to the double dip on Monday Night Football in Week 2 with convincing wins by arguably the two best teams in each conference in the Bills and Eagles. They also take a look at some things to keep an eye on for the upcoming week.

Bet the Edge kicks off the program by dishing out the best looks on the board for Coach of the Year with Kevin O’Connell tumbling from his favorite position (+750) to his current spot (+1100) after the Vikings were dominated in Philly. On the flip side, Nick Sirianni moved up as the third favorite (+800) after a convincing win that has the Eagles looking capable of grabbing the top seed in the NFC. Despite being behind Mike McDaniel (+500) and Brian Daboll (+750), Jay believes Sirianni should be the favorite in the market due to the perception that he is winning without an “elite” Quarterback in Jalen Hurts. He believes with an extremely soft schedule for the rest of the season, if Philly can notch 13 or more wins, the turnaround from nine wins in 2021 would likely benefit Sirianni instead of Jalen Hurts for MVP (+1100).

Drew and Jay also eye the Baltimore Ravens (-3) at the New England Patriots this weekend.. Coming off a brutal loss where they blew a 35-14 lead to the Dolphins, Drew believes the Ravens are in for a great rebound spot against a slow Patriots offense that does not have the perimeter speed to challenge the Baltimore secondary like Miami’s did.
