Week 1 MNF Preview; Week 2 Look Ahead Lines

Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick preview what bettors should be expecting on MNF when Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos (-6.5) make their return to Seattle to battle the Seahawks. They also break down what the Dak Prescott injury means to not only the Dallas Cowboys’ outlook this season, but the entire NFC and get an early jump on Week 2 matchups.

The duo dissects the firework Thursday night game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5). Jay explains why this high leverage game not only has major implications in the division and conference race, but the MVP market as well. Jay and Drew also take a look at the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) matchup, and what it will take for the Dolphins to repeat their thumping 22-10 victory over Baltimore from last season. They discuss how Miami’s blitzing packages could be the deciding factor in the game.

The pair concludes the program by blueprinting what to expect in Wilson’s first trip to Seattle where Denver is a sizeable favorite. They also dish out several prop plays including Albert Okwuegbunam receiving yards (25.5) and Rashaad Penny‘s carries (16.5).
