On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick blueprint the Thursday Night divisional tilt between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns (-4.5) before checking in on teams they think are great bets to either make or miss the playoffs.
Bet the Edge kicks off the program by dishing out the best looks in the make/to miss playoffs market. Jay and Drew both buy the winless Atlanta Falcons as a sneaky dark horse to make the postseason at their incredibly long price (+1300) despite some of the offensive dysfunction this team has showed at times this year. As for undefeated teams, the pair highlight the New York Giants (-150) to miss the postseason due to a fluky start on the season. Drew feels obliged to sprinkle a ticket on the Kansas City Chiefs (+500) given the depth and competition of the ferocious AFC.
In what is likely a windy night in Cleveland, both Jay and Drew discuss the game total (38.5) and first half total (18.5) in the Thursday night game.
