We have a big Sunday slate of 12 games. We are past the halfway point of the season and teams are starting to look forward to the playoffs. Odds powered by PointsBet. Keep up with Live odds here.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Baltimore Ravens (-6) Total: 50
Both the Vikings and Ravens are coming off of disappointing losses. Under Kirk Cousins the Vikings are 4-11 on the Money Line and 7-8 ATS as road underdogs. The Total in this game opened up at 49.5. The Total has cashed to the Over in seven of the Ravens last nine home games. Edge: Over 50
New England Patriots vs. Carolina Panthers (+3.5) Total: 41
The Patriots play their second straight road game after last week’s victory over the Chargers. The Panthers will get Christian McCaffrey back in their lineup this weekend. The Panthers are 1-4 on the Money Line in their last 5 games. Under Matt Rhule, the Panthers are 4-8 ATS at home. Edge: Patriots -3.5
Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5) Total: 47
In the last six meetings in this AFC North rivalry, the Browns are 2-4 ATS yet 5-1 on the Money Line. Cleveland was the favorite in all six of those games; This time the Bengals are the favorite. If I was to lay the spread on this game I would back the Browns, instead I’m going to play the Over. The Over has cashed in four of the last six meetings between these teams. Edge: Over 47
Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys (-10) Total: 49
The Broncos travel to Dallas this weekend looking to give them their first ATS loss of the season, but it’s highly unlikely they do so. I think Dallas is going to beat the Broncos pretty good this week. Big favorites have performed well this season; favorites of 10 or more points are 8-6-1 this year. Edge: Cowboys -10
Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+14.5) Total: 48.5
The Jaguars are 2-3 ATS in their last five games. They have played better as of late, but the Bills are one of the best if not the best team in the AFC. The Bills are 8-2-1 to the Over in their last 11 road games. Edge: Over 48.5
Houston Texans vs. Miami Dolphins (-5.5) Total: 46.5
The Texans are expected to have Tyrod Taylor back under center this week. The Dolphins are 0-4-1 ATS vs. the spread in their last five games. Houston was able to get an ATS cover last week vs. the Rams. With Taylor back under center, I’m backing the Texans. Edge: Texans +5.5
Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints (-6) Total: 41.5
It’s been a few weeks since I bet against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta is 2-1 vs. the spread in their last 3 games. Since the 2019 season Atlanta, is 1-3 ATS vs. the Saints. Trevor Siemian will get the start at quarterback for the Saints. Edge: Saints -6
Las Vegas Raiders vs. New York Giants (+3) Total: 46.5
The Raiders travel across the country this week to face the New York Giants. Las Vegas is 2-1 ATS on the road this season. One of my favorite things to do in betting this season has been to fade the Giants at home. Edge: Raiders -3
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Philadelphia Eagles (+1) Total: 49.5
This is one of the more interesting games to handicap on this week’s NFL slate. PointsBet is reporting over 80% of the tickets and handle on this game backing the Chargers, yet the number which opened up at Chargers -3, is down to Chargers -1. Justin Herbert is 7-4 ATS on the road in his career. There is no way I can back the Eagles in this spot. The Under has cashed in all of the Chargers’ road games this season. Edge: Under 49.5
Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) Total: 48
In a big week of NFL news, no story was bigger than the Aaron Rodgers’ positive COVID case story. Jordan Love will make his first pro start this week vs. the Chiefs. We will get to see if Love has learned anything sitting behind Rodgers. I have learned not to lay points with the Kansas City Chiefs. Edge: Packers +7.5
Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers (-1) Total: 45
Kyler Murray is questionable for the Cardinals this weekend vs. the 49ers. This game opened up on PointsBet with the Cardinals as 2.5 point favorites. The Niners are now a one-point favorite, which would have you believe that Murray will miss this week. Over the past two seasons the Under has cashed in 64% of NFC West games. Edge: Under 45
Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Rams (-7.5) Total: 52.5
The Titans lost Derrick Henry for the rest of the season earlier this week. Henry may be more important to his team than any other player in the league. With that being said, the number only moved one point when Henry was announced out. The Titans have been shocking teams all season. I think they will have enough to get the cover this weekend. Edge: Titans +7.5
