Watch both shows live on Peacock and catch replays for the weekday show on the NFL on NBC YouTube channel.
Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers (5-3) travel up the California coast Sunday Night on NBC for a game against Christian McCaffrey and the San Francisco 49ers (4-4). Each franchise has been forced to weather through some serious injuries (e.g. Keenan Allen for LA and Trey Lance for the 49ers), but each has been able to at least tread water while they get healthy or acquire reinforcements (hello, CMac). As we head into the second half of the season, the games are magnified and the margin for error shrinks.
As mentioned, the Chargers and the 49ers meet Sunday Night at Levi’s Stadium…and it is on NBC. Tune in. Be a part of the excitement. To help you out, here are some statistics and suggested picks to two of the questions from this week’s game.
Question 1: Justin Herbert Passing Yards
< 240, 240-269, 270-289, 290-309, 310-329 or 330+
Since the start of 2021, Herbert has thrown for 300 or more yards in eight out of 12 road games, so while I like the 300+ numbers, reality is the 49ers have one of the best defenses in the NFL.
Herbert’s offensive weapons are getting healthier by the week but flying back across the country after a close win at Atlanta to face a 49ers team coming off a bye week is a challenging task.
Patrick Mahomes threw for 423 yards on the 49ers, but was also trailing the entire game, so this is a tough one. I will say 290-309 passing yards a Hebert should cross 300 passing yards but could fall just short on Primetime.

Question 4: Deebo Samuel Total Yards
< 60, 60-74, 75-84, 85-94, 95-109 or 110+
Deebo has recorded at least 70 total yards in four out of seven games this season and has had a nice break since his last played game on Oct. 23. Deebo played one game with Christian McCaffrey since the trade and totaled 44 yards on six total touches.
How much Deebo and CMC can co-exist will be reveled on Sunday Night Football but I would expect more than six touches for Deebo. At home this season, Samuel averages 12.6 yards per reception and 8.1 yards per carry, so I will roll with 85-94 yards and even throw in a touchdown for one of the most exciting players in the game.
The rest of the questions are up to you, but it may be just that easy to secure a share of the $100,000 jackpot. Best of luck. Enjoy Football Night in America on NBC and enjoy the sweat. Click here to get started with the NBC Sports Predictor app.
