Jalen Hurts has taken the NFL by storm this season. Buoyed by one of the top offensive lines in football and supported by a group of talented skill position players, Hurts has become one of the most dangerous players in the league. The 2020 2nd round draft pick has thrown for 1359 yards (4 TDs, 2 INTs) through the first five weeks of the season. Combine his proficiency through the air with his 266 rushing yards (6 TDs) and it is easy to see why the dual-threat QB is one of the early favorites (+550) to claim MVP honors.

A winner at the collegiate level at Alabama and Oklahoma, Jalen Hurts leads the undefeated Eagles onto Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Sunday Night on NBC against quite possibly their most hated rival, the Dallas Cowboys.

If ever it was possible to resurrect a season after Week 1, Dallas has done just that. Dak Prescott has been sidelined since late in that Week 1 loss to Tampa Bay, but Cooper Rush and the rest of the Cowboys have picked up the slack. A product of Central Michigan, Rush has not been the electric presence under center that Hurts has been for Philly, but he has executed the gameplan efficiently for the now 4-1 Cowboys.

As noted, the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys Sunday Night on NBC with the winner a leg up in the NFC East and with a clear path to the #1 seed in the NFC playoffs.

Dallas Cowboys (+220) @ Philadelphia Eagles (-275)

Line: Eagles -6.5 (-110)

Over / Under: 42 (-110)

Keep those numbers in mind and lets take a deeper dive into the market to find some attractive player props. NBC Sports Fantasy and Betting analyst Matthew Berry offers the following:

Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-110)

Hurts makes the Eagles’ machine go. As mentioned earlier, behind a strong offensive line 3rd year signal caller has accounted for ten touchdowns (rushing and receiving) through the first five weeks of the season. More than reasonable to expect Hurts to find the endzone Sunday night.

Jalen Hurts 1+ Passing TD

This bet is a true sweat. Hurts has thrown for four TDs in five games. Dallas has given up four in five games. The bet here is that the Eagles just have too many weapons on offense and at least one of those pieces will be on the receiving end of a Hurts’ pass to the endzone.

Philadelphia Eagles -2.5 (-225) vs. Dallas

Taking an alt line is prudent as this is an NFC East divisional game. Cooper Rush has managed games well the past month but how will he fare against a stout Eagles’ rush? Lets hedge our bet slightly although the expectation is that Philly will wear Dallas down and ultimately prevail.

If you want to ride with Matthew Berry, know that BetMGM is sweating it with you. Play them individually or parlay the three and beginning Sunday at 12P Eastern, BetMGM will be boosting the parlay from +330 to +390.

Have a great weekend.
