Steelers signed Texas A&M TE/T Cameron Clear.
Clear (6'5/277) spent two years as a blocking tight end with the Aggies after transferring from community college, managing nine catches for 76 yards and a touchdown. He’s expected to convert to offensive tackle in the pros, where Clear’s 4.98 forty, 9-foot broad jump, and 32-inch vertical would make him a plus athlete for the position. Clear has 33 5/8-inch arms, also offering adequate length for the switch. He’s likely a one- or two-year project.

Colts signed TE/OT Cameron Clear to a reserve/future contract.
The Colts announced Clear as a tight end, but he has the size (6'5/277) to play tackle. In all likelihood, he’ll work in jumbo packages as a blocking specialist if he makes the team. Clear was a “name” UDFA out of Texas A&M after last May’s draft. He spent last summer with the Steelers.
