The Hawks announced on Sunday that they have waived Chaundee Brown Jr.
The decision to waive Brown frees up a two-way contract slot for the Hawks. Undrafted out of Michigan, he appeared in just five games last season, doing his best work for the Hawks’ G League affiliate. Atlanta now has just one player on a two-way contract, guard Trent Forrest.

Chaundee Brown Jr. (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Sunday’s season finale against the Rockets.
Brown Jr. just signed a two-way deal with Atlanta on Saturday, so it’s unlikely he would’ve played anyway. This won’t have a direct impact on fantasy hoops, unless other Hawks land in league protocols. It’s worth keeping an eye on, since the Hawks will be in the play-in this week.

The Hawks have signed Chaundee Brown to a two-way deal.
He’s averaged 15.2 points in 30 G-League appearances this season, but this signing doesn’t move the fantasy needle for any of Atlanta’s regulars. Brown will serve as a depth option at forward.

A guy named Chaundee Brown Jr. started for the Hawks on Monday and hit 1-of-7 shots for four points, nine rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes of a loss to the Bulls.
The Michigan product was signed out of the G League earlier in the day on Monday and actually did a pretty nice job given the circumstances. He’s on a 10-day contract and will at least be worth keeping an eye on as long as John Collins is in health and safety protocols for Atlanta.

Chaundee Brown Jr. will start vs. the Bulls on Monday with John Collins in quarantine.
Brown Jr. signed his 10-day deal with the Hawks this morning, and now he finds himself in the starting lineup with so many Atlanta players in quarantine. Joining him in the first unit tonight will be Trae Young, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Cam Reddish and Clint Capela.

Chaundee Brown Jr. is planning to sign a 10-day hardship deal with the Hawks on Monday, per Adrian Wojnarowski.
The rookie out of Michigan played sparingly for the Lakers while on a two-way deal this season. While he’ll likely get more of a chance on the Hawks, who have 10 players in protocols and two more out, he’s not worth rushing to the wire for.

The Lakers have signed Chaundee Brown to a two-way contract.
Brown was with the Lakers’ Summer League team, and was one of the final cuts out of training camp. The rookie out of Michigan will spend the majority of this season with the Lakers’ G League affiliate. In order to make room for Brown, the Lakers are waiving Sekou Doumbouya.
