Kansas State adds size with fourth 2015 commitment
Kansas State head coach Bruce Weber and his staff have done a good job with their 2015 recruiting class thus far, entering the weekend with three players having verbally committed to joining the program next year. Saturday it was reported that Kansas State received a fourth verbal commitment in the class, with three-star center Dante Williams making the decision to spend his college years in Manhattan according to Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle.
Williams is a native of Arlington, Texas and is listed as being 6-foot-10, but at July’s adidas Unrivaled camp in Chicago he was listed on the roster as being 7-feet even. Williams made one of the camp’s four all-star teams that weekend, and he played with the Texas Select program this summer.
Whether he’s 6-foot-10 or 7-feet tall, Williams gives Kansas State some additional size when the 2015-16 season arrives. Williams joins guard Barry Brown and forwards Dean Wade and Eric Cobb as players who have committed to Kansas State. With regards to their interior options the Wildcats have just one player entering his senior season, and that’s 6-foot-9 power forward Thomas Gipson.
