Today’s question: Vols or Spartans more likely to surprise in March?
Michigan State and Tennessee are among the season’s two biggest disappointments, but both won games Tuesday night that could be a sign of things to come in March.
The Spartans (16-11, 8-7) won at Minnesota for their third victory in the last four games, while the Vols completed a season sweep of Vanderbilt and improved to 17-11 overall and 7-6 in the SEC. (And not a moment too soon for the Vols.)
It’s looking like both will make the NCAA tournament, much to the chagrin of teams who could face nasty second-round games against MSU or Tenn.
So here’s the question: Which team is more likely to make a deeper NCAA tournament run?
