Navy sophomore S Chelen Garnes entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Garnes (5'11/200) joins former Navy teammate Jacob Springer in transferring out of the program. A true freshman in 2019, Garnes appeared in all 13 games and finished the year with 11 tackles to his name. Due to transfer rules, Garnes will need to sit the 2020 season, but since he has his redshirt available to him, he can use the redshirt and retain his three remaining years of eligibility.
