We at Rotoworld are dedicated to giving you all the Chandler Brayboy and Keni-H Lovely updates we can. Here’s what we know: They both signed reserve/futures contracts after spending all year on the Jaguars practice squad. That’s all we got. More to come later.
  • JAC Wide Receiver
Jaguars signed WR Eric Ezukanma to their practice squad.
After three years with the Dolphins that yielded just five total games on the active roster, Ezukanma has taken his talents to Atlantic Beach. Joining Ezukanma on Jacksonville’s practice squad are: WR Chandler Brayboy, OL Jerome Carvin, LB Branson Combs, QB Seth Henigan, TE Patrick Herbert, RB Ja’Quinden Jackson, OL Ricky Lee, CB Keni-H Lovely, TE Quintin Morris, DB Jabbar Muhammad, DL Keivie Rose, DB Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, WR Dorian Singer, OL Sal Wormley and DL Matt Dickerson. It’s a strong collection of names and we definitely didn’t do this blurb just to point out that Keni-H Lovely is a great manga.
  • JAC Running Back
Jaguars signed Arkansas RB Ja’Quinden Jackson.
Jackson (6’2/229) started his career at Texas in 2020 but left after one season and enrolled at Utah. He saw limited action in his first season with the Utes, but appeared in 13 games in 2022, rushing for 78-531-9 while averaging 6.8 YPC, a career best. Jackson rushed for 161-797-4 during his 2023 campaign at Utah, but transferred to Arkansas to close out his career. Jackson led the Razorbacks’ running backs in carries (149), rushing yards (790), and rushing touchdowns (15) last season. He’s consistently utilized his size to his advantage, but lacks breakaway speed, as evidenced by his 5.8 percent breakaway run rate, per PFF, and the 4.75 40 time he logged at his Pro Day. With no receiving upside to speak of (23 career receptions), Jackson’s ceiling as a pro will be limited to that of an early-down grinder. He’ll likely make his rounds on the practice squad to start his career.
  • FA Running Back #38
Texas freshman QB Ja’Quinden Jackson entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Jackson (6'2/232), who suffered a partially torn ACL last December, did not appear in any games for the Longhorns this season. The freshman appeared to be a possibility in the race to replace Sam Ehlinger as Texas’ starting quarterback next season, but that won’t be happening. A native of Dallas, Jackson will have four years of eligibility remaining at his next stop should be go through with a transfer.
