Jaguars selected USC C Jonah Monheim with the No. 221 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Monheim (6’4/303) is an athletic player who started 46 games for the Trojans. He can play just about anywhere on the offensive line. He started at center in 2024 for USC. As a run blocker, Monheim has good awareness and is quick off the ball. He has good technique and is active with his hands. Monheim has good vision, and does a nice job peeling off his blocks to his next opponent. As a run blocker, Monheim’s strength is zone blocking. However, he does have shorter arms at 30 1/8 in length. As a pass blocker, Monheim is quick off the ball and does a nice job controlling his opponents. However, he does lack that prototypical size for an NFL offensive lineman. Overall, despite his lack of length, Monheim still has impressive strengths that many NFL teams would like to have on their roster. Monheim has the talent to develop into a depth piece with his versatility and strengths.
  • USC received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 T Jonah Monheim.
Monheim (6'5/280) took his official visit to USC in June, and a little over two months later the Moorpark, California native made his pledge to Clay Helton’s program. The three-star tackle, who according to Greg Biggins of 247Sports.com could slide inside to guard at the college level, also held offers from programs such as Alabama, Oklahoma, Washington, Arizona and Arizona State. Monheim is USC’s 11th verbal commitment in the Class of 2020 to date, and he’s also the fourth offensive tackle in the class.
