Fansided’s Michael Chavez believes that UCLA senior CB Nate Meadors “will have a chance to thrive” under secondary coach Paul Rhoades.
Chavez is enamored with Meadors’ approach to the game. The cornerback is not particularly flashy, but offers what the analyst refers to as a “steady and business-like” demeanor. A confident one as well. This past season was the 5-foot-11, 195-pounder’s most involved to date, as he posted 54 tackles (2.0 for loss), a sack, an interception and nine tackles. He could have jumped for the draft over the winter, but instead opted to bring it back for one more go-round in HC Chip Kelly’s first year at the helm of the ship.

Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline writes that UCLA senior CB Nate Meadors “offers decent size and solid ball skills.”
“I like his awareness and the way Meadors works to get his head around and locate the pass,” Pauline writes, though he does offer the caveat that the 5-foot-11, 195-pounder could face questions regarding his top-end speed come the spring evaluating process. Draft Analyst grades Meadors out as a sixth-round prospect at this juncture.
