On the field, Blake Barnett is in a competition to win Alabama’s starting quarterback job. Off the field, in the here and now, the Tide player is already decidedly winning at the game of life.
Monday, Barnett celebrated his Fourth of July holiday by revealing to the world that he’s officially off the market and engaged to Maggie Peterson. The New Jersey native is also an athlete, competing as a professional surfer in the World Surf League.
Congrats to the happy couple.
And, on a completely unrelated note, the 2016 college football season will kick off in exactly 52 days.When you know, you know. Ready to start this adventure with my best friend!
