Awesome: LeGrand to join Rutgers Radio Network

Former Rutgers defensive lineman Eric LeGrand is taking his football IQ beyond the field and into the press box.

Nearly a year since suffering a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down, LeGrand hasn’t slowed down one bit. He’s documented his rigorous recovery efforts often via Twitter, and now, he’s joined the Rutgers Football Radio Network as an analyst. According to head coach Greg Schiano, LeGrand will do pre-game, halftime and post-game reports.

And, if you’ve seen LeGrand’s interviews on ESPN, you know he’s well-spoken and has great charisma. LeGrand has stated before that he wants to be a college football analyst after he graduates. This certainly gives him the reps to continue on that path.

As always, we wish LeGrand the best as he’s been a continuous source of inspiration for anyone who doesn’t feel like getting out of bed in the morning.
