It’s amazing what an athletic college-aged individual who’s bored and has some time on his hands can accomplish.
The latest example? Texas’ main kickoff specialist the past three seasons and No. 1 place-kicker, Nick Rose.
On the Twitter account of Trey Holtz, the UT reserve quarterback posted a rather unique video clip. Specifically, he posted a video of himself and Rose combining for a backflip field goal attempt from the five-yard line at DKR.
Very impressive, young man -- and I’m talking about the hair as well.
And, for those who are curious, Rose confirmed that he did indeed put the football through the uprights, which wasn’t clear in the original clip that cut off before the make.
On an unrelated note, there are 88 days left until the 2015 FBS season kicks off. And, to be perfectly honest, it can’t get here soon enough.
