BEANIE WELLS CARTED OFF WITH INJURY

Ohio State’s national championship hopes may have just taken a huge hit.Running back Chris “Beanie” Wells was carted off the field during the third quarter of the Buckeyes’ game against Youngstown State with what has been reported as a foot injury.Wells went to the ground and fumbled before he was hit on a first and goal carry at the 2-yard line before grasping for his foot. He was grabbing his foot on the ground as medical personnel attended to him. He had 13 carries for 111 yards and the Buckeyes led 26-0 at the time.Ohio State has a home game against Ohio next week, and you have to figure Wells will sit that one out. After that they travel to USC, where they’ll desperately need their top player.In good news for Ohio State fans, freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor has taken some snaps, and he looks like every bit the incredible athlete everyone said he was.
