A pair of Oregon Ducks, including the school’s single-season touchdown record holder, have been suspended from the football program indefinitely, the Eugene Register-Guard is reporting.According to the paper, Oregon head coach Mike Bellotti suspended both running back LeGarrette Blount and linebacker Terrance Pritchett for “failure to fulfill team obligations”. In his statement announcing the disciplinary action, Bellotti said both Blount and Pritchett “are barred from all of the team’s football-related activities”.Blount scored 17 TDs last season, and has been expected to take over the bulk of the Ducks’ running game load in 2009.Pritchett, meanwhile, was already seemingly a problem child before whatever incident(s) led to Bellotti’s actions. The linebacker was suspended for two games last season, and ultimately withdrew from school. He later returned to the team in time for the school’s bowl practices, and re-enrolled for classes last month.
