As we posted last week, East Carolina defensive end Terrell Stanley was listed in critical condition following a serious car accident that took place last Wednesday near Greenville, N.C.
The good news now is that Stanley’s condition was upgraded from ‘critical’ to ‘good’ on Monday. While he’s not out of the woods just yet, his prospects for a full recovery are much improved since the crash.
His coach, Ruffin McNeill, called Stanley “a warrior with a relentless and passionate approach to life.”
Stanley, a rising junior, started 12 games last season and had 46 tackles. Here’s hoping he’s back on the field next fall.
