If you are going to provide identification to the authorities, you better make sure it is legit. One Texas A&M wide receiver found out the hard way just how costly failing to do so can be.
On Tuesday, Texas A&M wide receiver Frank Iheanacho was arrested and charged with failure to identify and providing false information. The arrest has led Texas A&M to suspend Iheanacho from all football activities until the legal process plays out, which is standard operating procedure.
The sophomore, a former four-star recruit in the Class of 2014, posted a $2,000 bond on Tuesday. The charges reportedly stem from a February shoplifting incident at a Wal-Mart.
Iheanacho appeared in seven games for the Aggies in 2014. He recorded two receptions in a reserve role.
