Move over Alabama, Auburn and Gus Malzahn‘s pace car. The reigning kings of college football are elbowing their way into the redneck world of racin’.
Saturday night will be the 56th running of the Firecracker 400 Pepsi 400 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. For the primetime NASCAR race, Brian Vickers’ No. 55 Aaron’s Toyota machine will be sporting a paint scheme that pays tribute to Florida State’s 2013 BCS championship.
Vickers drives for Michael Waltrip Racing, so the paint scheme should come as no surprise as that team has in the past honored BCS championship teams from Alabama and Auburn at the spring Talladega race.
