Hoosiers’ leading rusher to undergo surgery

Indiana running back Darius Willis will miss the remainder of spring practice in order to undergo surgery on his injured ankle, the Bloomington Herald-Times is reporting.

The sophomore back, who’s been out for the last ten days with a rib injury, missed three games last season due to the ankle issue.

The good news for the Hoosiers, though, is that Willis should be fine physically by the start of summer camp.

In 2009, Willis’ 607 yards and six rushing touchdowns led the Hoosiers.
