LSU loses WR coach to NFL’s 49ers

It seems college coaches leaving for the NFL is rather fashionable lately. The latest college coach to go to the NFL is Adam Henry.

Henry served LSU as wide receivers coach but is now heading to the NFL to coach with the San Francisco 49ers. Henry joined the LSU coaching staff in 2012 after spending five seasons with the Oakland Raiders serving as an offensive quality control assistant and later as a tight end coach for the Raiders.

There is no word yet on who might get a chance to fill the vacancy on LSU’s coaching staff, nor is there any indication just yet if any incoming LSU recruits might have felt misled by the LSU coaches. That certainly seems to be an issue in other places though.

#LSU announced that WR coach Adam Henry has left the program to take a job in the #NFL with the @49ers. @LSUfball
