It’s nearing a full year since Missouri linebacker Will Ebner was hit with a charge of suspicion of driving while intoxicated, and finally, there appears to be some resolution in the matter.
By way of the Columbia Daily Tribune, Ebner pleaded guilty to a reduced charge -- minor in possession -- yesterday (Thursday) and began serving a two-day stint in a Boone County Jail.
He was also fined $200 for the incident.
Ebner will not serve any suspensions involving this incident for the 2011 season; he was suspended for the first two games last year.
Ebner is listed as the starting middle linebacker for the Tigers heading into preseason camp.
