A week after being one of two Oklahoma State players charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Christian Littlehead has learned that his 2011 season will come to a premature end.
Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy confirmed Monday that the defensive lineman has been suspended for the Jan. 2 Fiesta Bowl matchup with Stanford.
Littlehead and OSU offensive linemen Jonathan Rush were charged last Monday for an incident that took place the week before. Rush suffered a season-ending injury in September, so he will not be available for the bowl game regardless.
Littlehead has played in all 12 games this season for the Cowboys, starting a couple of those contests, and has been credited with two tackles for loss and one sack.
