Oklahoma State University acted swiftly after learning of a felony complaint of domestic violence against junior Tyreek Hill. Hill will no longer represent the school as a member of the football or track teams.

The decision comes two days after the Big 12 Conference named Hill its Offensive Newcomer of the Year. Hill finished second on the team with 568 rushing yards and fourth with 281 receiving yards. The speedster was also the team’s primary kick and punt returner.
Six days ago, Hill was the hero of the Oklahoma State’s 38-35 overtime victory against the Oklahoma Sooners when he returned a kick 92 yards for the game’s tying score with 45 seconds remaining.
Hill originally came to Stillwater as a highly-regarded four-star recruit from Garden City Community College. The JUCO transfer chose Oklahoma State over offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State Seminoles and Texas Longhorns.
