QUIZZ COULD RETURN TO BEAVERS BY NEXT WEEK

The crown jewel of the Oregon State Beavers, and the key to their shocking upset of the USC Trojans last season will finally be unveiled in spring practice it looks like.ESPN.com’s Ted Miller reports that Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers should be back practicing by next Wednesday, but only after coach Mike Riley triple checks things. Quizz is eager to join his brother James on the practice field in Corvallis."I think I’ve worked with four different doctors! I just wnt to get out there and start doing something.” Rodgers said, after talking with press about his heath.Rodgers sensational breakout season was hampered down the stretch after a shoulder injury took him out on the season finale against Oregon and the Beavers bowl victory versus Pitt.The freshman ran for 1,253 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, averaging just under 5 yards a carry. His 186 rushing yards on 37 carries last September brought the 5-foot-7 tailback to center stage after the shocking upset of USC on a Thursday night in Corvallis.
