Report: No shoulder separation for Robinson

The buzz on Oklahoma State websites and message boards is that quarterback Zac Robinson is suffering from a separated shoulder.

According to Tulsa World, that’s simply not the case.

Citing multiple sources close to the Cowboy program, the paper reports that Robinson does not have a separated shoulder; rather, the senior is suffering from what’s being described as a deep bruise in the shoulder.

The sources say that Robinson, who incurred the injury eight days ago against Texas Tech and sat out the close win over Colorado, has a 50-50 chance of playing this weekend against Oklahoma.

It’s appears very likely that Brandon Weeden, who replaced an ineffective Alex Cate in the second half of the Buffaloes game, would get the start if Robinson can’t go.
