RichRod donates Michigan memorabilia to charity

Attention for all of those who want to own a little piece of Rich Rodriguez‘s short tenure at Michigan.

Or, if anyone happens to be in the Ann Arbor area and wants some discounted Michigan Swag.

The former Wolverines coach is donating upward of 432 items of memorabilia to the Salvation Army which will go up for auction. The items for sale will include shirts, jackets, hats, bags, other wardrobe items and original practice time schedules previously stored away in a safe.

The items are said to be selling for no more than 25-percent of their original price. Although he was asked, Rodriguez declined at the chance to autograph any of the donations.

Instead, RichRod is looking to put his Michigan days behind him and plans to take some much needed R&R (not to be confused with “Rich and Rita”).

“He kind of took a deep breath and said his buddies are probably going to take him someplace warm this weekend,” a Salvation Army employee said.

Go get you some beach time, Rich.
