Add Utah to the growing number of college football teams revealing new duds for the upcoming season.
The Utes unveiled Thursday what they are calling “Neo Classic” throwback uniforms, honoring teams from as far back as the sixties. The jerseys, created in partnership with Under Armour, will be worn for the Homecoming matchup with Cal Oct. 10.
From the school’s release:
Elements drawn from various decades that are incorporated into the design include:
• Interlocking UU logo on the helmet from the 1960s
• Font for the numbers from the 1970s
• Stripes on the jerseys from the 1970s-1990s.
