Someone needs to get Jim Tressel a new watch, because he’s the only person in America who doesn’t realize it’s Terrelle Pryor time.Everyone who watched USC thump Ohio State Saturday night could see that Pryor, the fabulous freshman, is not just the future at quarterback for the Buckeyes but also the present. At least, everyone except their head coach, who’s still sticking with the senior and incumbent starter, Todd Boeckman. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Tressel is likely to stick with Boeckman, even though Pryor averaged 5.1 yards per play Saturday, while Boeckman averaged 2.8. That’s a bad decision. The loss to USC almost certainly knocked the Buckeyes out of national title contention, but they’re still the favorites to win the Big Ten. They should go with the guy who gives them the best chance to win the Big Ten this year and get to a BCS title game in the next couple of years: Terrelle Pryor.
