Houston redshirt senior TE Romello Brooker caught four passes for 45 yards and one touchdown in Saturday’s 70-14 bowl loss to Army.

Brooker (6'5/253) was on the receiving end of a red zone touchdown in the second quarter, but that was the only passing touchdown of the evening for the Cougars. The redshirt senior will wrap up his final collegiate season with 33 receptions for 409 yards and seven touchdowns in Houston’s aerial attack. That’s decent production and Brooker has a big frame, so Brooker may have a shot at getting some NFL looks.

Brooker (6'5/253) led the Cougars with his 76 yards receiving on Saturday. The bulk of that statistical action came on a 52-yard touchdown grab with just under five minutes remaining in the first quarter. His yardage total against the Wildcats surpassed what he had put up in his career to date entering the weekend.
