Chargers signed TE Dante Rosario to a one-year contract.
Rosario, 27, is athletic at 6-foot-4, 250 and can run down kicks and punts on special teams. He’ll likely compete directly for a roster spot with Kory Sperry. The Chargers’ top two tight ends are Antonio Gates and Randy McMichael.
  • FA Tight End
Chargers TE Dante Rosario scored three touchdowns on four catches to go along with 48 receiving yards in Sunday’s win over the Titans.
Without Antonio Gates, Rosario saw most of the goal line tight end work and it paid off in the form of three scores. However, on all three Rosario was fairly wide open and almost seemed to be unaccounted for by the Titans’ defense. He did leave at one point in the game but returned after what appeared to be a minor injury or cramps.
  • FA Tight End
The Cowboys worked out free agent TE Dante Rosario.
Dallas already has Jason Witten, James Hanna and rookie Gavin Escobar on the roster, so they’re likely just performing due diligence. Rosario is primarily a special teamer and situational tight end with good athleticism, but has never been consistent on the field.
  • FA Tight End
    Broncos re-signed TE Dante Rosario.
Rosario will provide some depth while Julius Thomas recovers from his high-ankle sprain. The pass-catching tight end was released by the Broncos at final cuts earlier this month.
  • FA Tight End
    Dolphins released TE Dante Rosario.
Rosario failed to catch a pass in Miami’s first two games. He was a luxury as the third tight end, but could be re-signed down the road.
  • FA Tight End
The Colts tried out free agent TE Dante Rosario on Thursday.
Indy GM Ryan Grigson was likely just updating his “emergency list.” A special teamer and situational tight end, Rosario is seemingly good for a fluky monster fantasy game once per year. He scored three TDs in Week 2 last season.
  • FA Tight End
Cowboys signed TE Dante Rosario, formerly of the Chargers.
Rosario, 28, served as San Diego’s third tight end behind Antonio Gates and Randy McMichael last year, catching ten passes for 95 yards and three touchdowns. He chipped in five special teams tackles. Rosario will compete for a roster spot in Dallas. Jason Witten, James Hanna, and second-round pick Gavin Escobar are the Cowboys’ top three tight ends.
  • FA Tight End
Cowboys traded TE Dante Rosario to the Bears in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick.
Rosario slides in behind every-down tight end Martellus Bennett and blocker Steve Maneri. He has 99 career catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns across six seasons with the Panthers, Broncos and Chargers.
  • FA Tight End
Bears re-signed TE Dante Rosario to a one-year contract.
Acquired from the Cowboys last September, Rosario appeared in 15 games. He caught only one pass, but was an asset as a blocker. 68 of his 186 snaps came as a run blocker. That will remain Rosario’s role during his age-30 season.
  • FA Tight End
    Bears released TE Dante Rosario.
The move is a head scratcher not because Rosario is a difference maker on the field, but because the Bears re-signed him to a one-year contract in late February. A special teamer and run blocker, Rosario figures to resurface elsewhere as a No. 3 tight end. He’s stretched at No. 2 on a depth chart.
