    Toledo received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 WR DeMeer Blankumsee.
    Blankumsee (6'0/173) was also considering Iowa State, Indiana, Rutgers and Louisville. Earlier this offseason, the Cincinnati native was a standout performer at the Under Armour All-America Camp regional for Ohio. When he suits up for action, Blankumsee brings plus routes to the table, as well as more-than-adequate athleticism. The 247Sports composite board sees him home as the No. 23 prospect in the state of Ohio for the 2020 cycle.

    Uncommitted three-star 2020 WR DeMeer Blankumsee plans on making his pledge this summer.
    Blankumsee (6'0/173) would like to commit before he embarks on his senior season of high school ball. The coaching staffs of Cincinnati, Iowa State, Louisville and Toledo have all done strong work to forge bonds with the Cincinnati native to this juncture. He has checked out three of those four programs on unofficial visits, with the Cyclones the lone outlier on that front. Blankumsee told Rivals that he plans on taking “a couple” of official visits in June, but has not yet settled on which programs will receive those trips. On the field, Blankumsee is a route-running technician possessing of a strong athletic profile. He was in the running for position group MVP honors at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp regional in Cincy earlier this offseason.
